Does anyone else ever feel guilty for skipping workouts, even when there is a legit reason?
For instance I have been dealing with cold + reaction from COVID vaccine last week and I only managed to workout 1 day. I have been planning to start this week STRONG but then I woke up with my allergies flairing up (runny nose, feeling lightheaded, eyes burning etc). I feel weak and not at all in the mood for working out...
Everytime I skip workout I feel GUILTY. I can't get over it. I feel like if I skip a day or week of workout I will lose all the progress I've build up over months or years. Also feel like I'm going to gain 5 pounds for every day I don't workout. I'm beating myself over this so much and usually my whole day is ruined.
Am I the only one dealing with this, clearly irrational feelings? 😫
Ps. I have a knee surgery coming up and honestly all I can think about is how am I going to deal with not being able to exercise for some time...
Guilt.
