It's April! šø So spring is even nearer. I've read that the weather has been fickle for many Blenders, and here it will be a lot colder than the previous days, where you could go outside in a T-shirt.

This quote can apply to other forms of exercise too, in my opinion. Or any other thing you like to do that gives you inner peace and relaxation. Baking bread, doing a breathing exercise, going for a walk and enjoying natureā¦ I think tuning in with yourself is very important and that yoga (or stretching/flexibility work) is one of the best ways to do so. For me, it works better than to just sit on a chair and try to clear out negative thoughts. I need to use my body too.
Do you regularly do an activity to ānourish your soulā? (As you can see on the photo, the neighborhood cat was doing a yoga pose called "completely relaxed cat".)
Itās a bit of a chaotic week here. Tuesday I posted about the commotion around my block. Iām lucky that I can get shelter at my parentsā house. But today my parentsā neighbors are getting work done in their garden, so there has been lots of talking, hammering and people appearing where they donāt usually appear since this morning. Itās still calmer than at my place currently, but I found it ironic that there is noise here, too. š
I did yoga in the morning to calm my nervous system. Luckily during most of my session the construction noise had ceased as the workmen seemed to be on a break. Otherwise it wouldnāt have been very relaxing š Decided to go for a walk later today instead of fitting in an additional (inside) workout. I think thatās better for me today. I need slower, lighter movement.
What are you doing today? Planning anything relaxing? Or struggling to find the time for that?
