This is a message I had to tell myself yesterday after feeling frustrated by my body for not fitting into a pair of my "skinny" pants I still have in my closet. And I found myself repeating it to myself while thinking about recent injuries, and how I've felt stymied by those. My body might need to avoid certain moves, but it is not wrong or defective for needing that.
Our bodies are ever-changing: weight, strength, coordination, flexibility -- all these things fluctuate from day to day and season to season.
So for anyone else who needs that message that: your body is not wrong.
What nice things are you doing for your body today? How are we moving, grooving, and refuelling? I'm making bagels today for brunch. My friend just got her second vaccine so there may or may not be mimosas involved as well. No plans for a formal workout, but it's supposed to be a beautiful day so I'm hoping I'll have time for a walk in the sunshine later.
