Hypothyroidism-Help

Hello everyone, I have hypothyroidism and gained 50 pounds in one year. Throughout that year i was working out and trying to eat better. For quite some time i was even on a calorie deficit. While doing all of this i still managed to gain a lot of weight. I also still dont want to go on the pill to level my hormones. I want to try to loose weight the right way first. But to be honest, i am loosing motivation because i am not seeing any changes.

If any of you lost weight with hypothyroidism, what helped you? Did you have to cut out specific foods? What workouts helped you the most? Any tips or experiences would be very helpful and appreciated.
