I've been in the routine of doing FB programs regularly combined with yoga from the YWA calendar. It was working out well however it's been a struggle since I started FB Sweat. It's my second time doing Sweat and the first time I did it, I did the entire program with all the extra credits, and that too during Ramadan (which probably wasn't the smartest thing). However, I simply cannot take 1.5 hours out of my day to focus on fitness. I mean I can but I have to sacrifice on sleep which is what I am currently doing, and it's taking a toll on my body. I recently moved in with my husband so we're definitely adjusting to each other's routines. I start work early too which means I just don't have that much free time as I did when I was living alone.
My husband suggested just doing the normal workouts for the program instead of adding on the extra credit one, but I just feel like a failure. And I get so stressed about not doing the extra credit that my body just tenses up and it doesn't relax till I've done the extra credit.
I know all the facts and evidences that say give your body a break but I just can't seem to let it do that. Maybe it's because Ramadan starts in a month and I decided I wouldn't do 1 hour long workouts then so I feel like I HAVE to do it now because otherwise, I won't be able to do hour long workouts till the end of May and by then, anything I have built up, especially cardio endurance wise, will go away.
Thoughts, opinions? Thank you for hearing me out :)
Feeling forced to do extra credits
Hi everyone!
