how are you today? how are your food and workout choices going this week? any new stories to tell me?
today id like to discuss another much debated topic in the weightloss world - when you are losing weight/getting healthy, must others around you eat healthy also?
my view on it always has been that YOU are the one losing weight. just like noone could force you, noone can force your significant other or family. especially if they have a manual labor job - they should be allowed to eat whatever they want.
i mean my bf is a mechanic. i make the lunches every morning. he gets a sandwiche plus 2 drinks and 3 snacks. which of course this also means these snacks are in the house. but in my mind i label them as "bfs lunch snacks" therefore i cant eat them because if i did - not enough snacks for lunch!
i mean can you imagine if i sent him to work with a water, tuna on a lettuce wrap and carrot sticks?! haha!! um no.
also for dinner i make one thing and just eat less. if theres leftovers then he eats his thing and i eat mine- im very impressed by those of you that make multiple things for dinner!
of course your family should be supporting you and not be sabotaging you but we all know thats another whole subject!
we are only responsible for our ownselves and what goes in our own mouths. i could write much more on this but i wanted to know your thoughts!
