So, I took a two week vacay from FB because I had been doing programs back to back, and I was just a tad bored. So I decided to experiment with other YouTube fitness personalities. Whelp, it did not go well! I did a few videos but was not as motivated as I am with FB. I think it has a lot to do with the calendar feature, and all the extra goodies on the website. And it has to do with the positive, realistic messaging. And it has A LOT to do with this community. I missed you guys!
So today, I started FB again with FB Complete. I just like doing programs best because it gives me accountability. If I don’t follow through, then I can’t really say I did the program! So back to programs I go. I chose the advanced option today. My legs feel like jelly! Last time I lifted this heavy, my arms were the sorest part, I guess because they can’t keep up with carrying the weights for my legs!
My father in law died two weeks ago, and with the stress and sadness, plus all the people sending food, the scale has gone up. It’s not just about weight, I don’t feel good from all the crap I’ve been eating. But I’m trying to lift myself up by saying that these things don’t last forever. Eventually I’ll get back to normal.
My hubby is back on keto now (he went off while his father was dying.) So back to buffet dinners I go! That way we can all chose what we want. Tonight is not really a buffet, but it should still be good: chicken noodle soup with the noodles on the side. The rest of the week I plan to do things like drumsticks and sweet potatoes, grain bowls (when my hubby works a night shift,) cabbage and tilapia, and I don’t know what else. But I think I can manage to do the Mediterranean diet while he does Keto as long as there are lots of options at the house.
