Hey fellow blenders, I'm still going strong with my February reset! It's been relatively easy to begin with. I haven't had a drink since January 28th due to having the 2nd Covid vaccine and having a slight fever the next day. Luckily my symptoms were less than 12 hours, but it was a good reason to begin the sobriety early.
I would say that ignoring the bottle of wine on my counter is the hardest thing of my "reset". Even if I hid it out of view, I know I'd go after it if I convinced myself that I was deserving of it. My boyfriend has also offered to hide it for me, but I don't think I'm that desperate yet lol.
We had a decent snow storm this week and I had a bit of a mental battle with myself thinking that it would be ok to do a soberish February and enjoy a drink after I finished shoveling the driveway. I'm happy to report that I went with water instead. I honestly think that letting myself tell people about my challenge is the only thing that has kept me accountable in not breaking my goal.
Working out has still been the easy part. I'm thankful to have fitnessblender as a resource. I'm beginning to notice that some of my bloating has gone down, I haven't weighed myself yet and I probably won't for a bit yet.
Thanks for the support! Here's to 21 more days left of the month!
