Hello, Blendfriends! I hope you're having a lovely weekend.
I've had a pretty cruisy day. I've built lots of Lego, watched the footy, and done some baking. Just for you, I even took a photo. We have muesli slice for the kids' lunch boxes, and salted caramel and choc cherry bliss balls.
Yesterday's news (because I'm a day behind this weekend) is that I finished FB Complete. Actually, maybe it is today's news, because I just realised I haven't officially marked it complete yet. Oops! Anyway, this was one fantastic program, and I highly recommend it to anyone - it suits pretty much all needs.
Now that FB Complete is, well, complete, I need to decide what to do next. Most likely it'll be a routine I put together a month or so ago but haven't tried out yet.
A while back I did Booty, and I have to confess I wasn't a huge fan. I don't for a minute think there was too much Kelli, because she is awesome and I love working out with her. But at the same time, I did kinda feel there was not enough Daniel... So I have created a routine called "Booty with Daniel". I added it to my calendar today, had a look through, and... Well, I'm slightly terrified. But also excited!
But I still haven't officially completed FB Complete, right? So today's (optional) question is going to be FB Complete style!
Beginner/Intermediate: What are your favourite complete rest activities? Are you a reader, a TV-watcher, a jigsaw-puzzler... or is there something else you like to do?
Advanced Option 1: If you were to build your own program, or if an ideal program could be designed just for you, what would it be? Would it be similar to an existing program? Would it have any little quirks that might only appeal to you?
Advanced Option 2: Or if you're an FB Plus user who's already created a routine, tell me about it! I'd love to hear about what you put together for yourself.
How about today? Is it a workout day or a rest day? Pottering around the house and just relaxing like me, or will you be a bit more active? I did eventually do a bit of handstand work and stretching, but it was all pretty low key.
And what's the plan for today's meals? Are you in charge of dinner, or do you have a helpful family member to do the cooking? Will it be something new and interesting or an old favourite? My husband made spaghetti bolognaise tonight - otherwise I might not have made all those bliss balls.
Thanks for checking in with me, Blenders. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and see you next time!
