Hey there, everyone! How are you on this Friday Eve? Good I hope! ..I actually had a pretty anxious not so great feeling of a day yesterday. I haven't had such a great deal of senseless panic in quite some time, but I was overwhelmed with it yesterday. On top of rushing around yesterday, there was also some other unexpected stressful news about a relative. It's not COVID related and everyone is okay and there's nothing I can do, but a shock, anger, and stressor from it nonetheless.
Good news is that I'm feeling less anxious today and I'm hoping to mentally take it easier and slower today. Kickboxing really helped even though it was it was a struggle to fit it in yesterday. But with the week I've been having, I needed to punch something safely or I'd explode. Today is upper body strength on the schedule, but I don't think I'm up for it. ..Because it's always about listening to your body and making it work for you, right? So tell me what you are doing to make that a fact for you!
And no doubt you got some food going on, so how is that going for you? I think it will be anything that easy around here. Leftovers sound like the ticket for me.
Now the picture for today is a bit odd as it kinda looks like a bunch of little hot peppers clumped up on the ground. But these guys are actually seed pods/nuts from a Sago Palm. The color is cool an' all, but they are quite poisonous to you and especially fatal to dogs. I'll have a more zoomed out look in the comments just two make it a TwoferThursday.
As for the ghosting (guest hosting) that happens every weekend, is there a volunteer we have the pleasure of reading this weekend? If you think you're the one, well by all means, come forward and claim your spot! A spot that is welcome to all! I don't care if you are new, post in another group, did it last week or once last year or been here forever. It certainly helps give you a break from me!

I've been feeling disconnected all week because of my lack of response and minimal participation. And not exactly in the right headspace from yesterday.
