I'm up 5 pounds in the last 4 months. A slow climb. Even with an average of 4 days a week of workout routines, 1-2 days a week of jogging, daily walks, and eating healthy meals. I still go into work 4 days a week (I'm a teacher).
Here's whats changed:
I don't go anywhere. I'm home a lot. When I'm at work, I'm sitting at my desk to teach my online students while also teaching my in-person students. I don't walk to the main office every day like I used to. So while I make a conscious effort to move every day, the truth is that without the unconscious movement I would do in a pre-covid world, I don't think I'm truly moving as much as I used to.
I know that alcohol and night snacks are not helping. I'm going to cut those out this week and see if that makes a difference.
But my overall observation is that Covid weight is a thing. Anyone else think so?
