Happy New Year and Happy FriYay! 😊 I am glad it is a Friday and we are heading into the weekend, the mood seems set for that rather than jumping straight into a full work week! Also a day when I am reassessing if I overpromised for resolutions 😆
Last night, I heard a lot of fire crackers and indeed very loud party folks. Lil fur baby was slightly scared. Well I started watching a series and slept late, plus calls and messages after midnight!
To mark a good start to the day and year I chose a Total Body Workout (52 mins with K). Man, after 4 days of rest, I admit it wasn't easy to get started. But once done, I am happy 😊 So this is what I am going to do for Jan -I am going to workout 4 days per week rather than 5, will take Wednesdays off and I plan to do yoga midweek (I already *see* Deb shaking her head slowly, "Toasty, how many times have you said Yoga and not started it?" 😏🤭) But come next week this is going to be my plan. Yet to decide on the program though.
So tell me is there something you really want to change/incorporate in your working out routines? And what programs/challenges are you starting (or continuing)? Oops forgot to mention, so a few of us are getting together for short and sweet get together late afternoon, so we can be back home before curfew. Maybe friend chicken (edit: fried chicken, or is it? 😁🤭) on the menu, but not sure! What's your today looking like?
We all have witnessed extraordinary times and days last year, so here's wishing for a new normal that is more acceptable and comforting to one and all!
Some Cookie musings: Transitioned into new year with this fur baby in my arms, as she was scared of fire crackers. Since I disturbed her sleep time by staying awake and watching something, when I went to bed around 3am, she be in full active and play time mode then 😶 So came to bed after running around for an hour! Crazy lil kid! 😆
P.S. As always anyone and everyone is always welcome in these threads, please feel free to pop by and say hello 😊💜 We'd love to hear from you!
