Question about strength training: I’ve been with FB for years, and I’ve strength trained most of that time. I usually follow programs- Fit/Blend/Burn etc. so I do a combo of HIIT and strength. I’ve definitely gained more muscle definition, but I’ve never really been able to increase the amount of weight I use. Even after all these years. For example, 3lbs is and has always been the max I can do for reverse fly’s, 8 lbs for overhead presses, 5 lbs for most tricep stuff, etc. It seems like at this point I should have been getting stronger and be able to lift more weight. Does this sound normal or strange? I’m overall satisfied with how I look and feel, so I’m not trying to lose weight or anything. Just wondering why I’m so stagnant at weight lifting. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! And Happy New Year!
