Weekend Ghost Check-in: Sunday December 27

Hello, Blenders, and welcome to what will probably be the final check-in I ghost in 2020!

So of course I have to talk about 2020. But I'm only going to talk about the highlights. In fact, 2020 pretty much only has one highlight*. The one and only thing in 2020 that has not only met but has exceeded expectations is, of course... (drum roll here, please)... Fitness Blender!

So today's question relates to K&D's fabulous workouts, and it's all about how fabulous YOU are as a Blender, too.

Please share with us: What is your ultimate ego-boosting workout? Which workout makes you feel like a beast, or super flexy, or just really good about yourself?

Mine is, of course, the workout I did today: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/insane-cardio-workout-challenge-climbing-the-mountain-ladder-workout-hardest-workout-yet. Now, when it comes to brutal tabata HIIT routines, Daniel has me beat. Push ups? He's streets ahead of me there. But endurance cardio? Just try to keep up with me, Daniel! This workout plays to all my strengths.

So yes, today's workout was Michele's final 1000 calorie workout party. Did you join us? If so, please stop reading for a minute and do a few hip flexor stretches. Then tell me how you coped. It's brutal!

If you didn't join the party, what was on the cards (calendar) for today? Was it something equally tough, or something milder? Perhaps Sunday is a rest day and you're gearing up for something new tomorrow.

And how about meals - what's the plan for today? Are you cooking, or do you have someone else to cook for you? And is there hot chocolate involved? I spent the afternoon with my parents and brother and our families, and had a rather long lunch of roast chicken and salads, and cheese and fruit platters - definitely not hungry enough for dinner! I made popcorn (plain) and that was sufficient.

Well, there we go. I've reached the end of my final ghost check-in for 2020. It's been lots of fun - thank you, Kim and Raven, for sharing the weekends with us, and I look forward to ghosting further next year! And thanks to all the fabulous Blenders who check in with me. And of course those of you who read but don't respond - Hi!! You're fabulous too.

* Actually, 2020 has a couple more highlights, but they're all related to Australian sports, and I won't subject you to that after all my cricket chatter yesterday.
