HKS (Healthy, Kind and Support) Accountability Group December 17
Heya sweet folks,
How are you all doing? Mafe reminded me yesterday it's my turn, and as it kept slipping off my mind, I thought I should go ahead and post it before I actually forget 🤭
Thought for the day: "Every little victory counts". It's a simple yet quite powerful thought I feel. Some of us Blenders have some small/big injuries that keep us from what or how we used to workout. And evey day becomes one tiny lil step in moving towards that direction, whether that's a mental and/or physical step. Either way we should see it as a victory. For trying. For believing. Outside workouts, life happens. And the same idea applies there too. So to all those winning your battles, whatever they may be, Bravo! Hold tight, you are doing great showing up for yourself 🤗
Workouts: Day 4 Old school. There was a shorter workout or an option of pure strength of 50 minutes. I wanted to go with pure strength and boy, it hurt!! I was already slightly sore from two days ago but my uppers are jelly. I put that workout into my favorites!
I managed to sleep slightly longer and feel much at ease because of that. Of course, lil Cookie's warm snuggles always help 🥰
So tell me about your day, workouts, your victories or just the process of trying, what's the menu etc.
Tomorrow we'll have our strong and sunshiny Mafe hosting for us again. I'm sure she's proud of me to have started the thread 🤭😏
