How to get back to normal after disruptions to eating routine?
I have lost about 45lbs in a little less tha. 2 years and I feel great! I've got about another 15lbs to lose, and I'm happy to do it! I've never felt deprived with my diet and enjoy my exercise.
This week however has been extremely difficult (I work retail overnight and the holiday has been brutal in 2020) and I know it's partially due the fact that I worked 48 hours this week. I usually never eat out (I don't really miss it) but I have been eating out almost every day this week (and not moderately healthy things either). All of that might be okay if it weren't for the fact I've been eating so much I'm uncomfortably full. I seem to be ravenously hungry this week, and I can't stop myself from finishing plates of food even after I'm full. I haven't had this problem and years now, and this whole week has made me feel incredibly icky. Does anyone have any tips for transitioning back to moderate food habits after feeling a little out of control? My motivation just seems gone this week and even when I plan out meals and calories I find myself deviating from them to reach for lower quality calories.
