I injured my shoulder (pinched nerve) earlier this year and have been slowly working back to full abilities. I still have to be very careful with weight bearing exercises like push ups, mountain climbers, burpees. I can do a 1-2 sets of something, but I can't do too many in one workout.
So I often throw in a substitute exercise when I can't do a particular set.
I'm looking for inspiration though. What are your favorite non weight bearing HIIT exercises (anything but high knees! I hate those).
