Good morning Blenders! I’m back for another round of guest-hosting, a.k.a., “ghosting.”
No nature picture today, just a bit of cuteness. Some of you may know that I’m pretty much obsessed with my youngest son’s hamster, Brownie. I have way too many photos of this critter on my phone, and I keep hoping that my son will take a day trip somewhere so I can have the hamster all to myself. 😬🤷🏽♀️ Anyways, this picture is from a few days ago, when Brownie curled up on my chest for a little power nap. I couldn’t resist subjecting you to my obsession. Sorry/not sorry.
But what I’m definitely not sorry about is taking care of my health! Today that means resting again! I had a headache and felt rather groggy most of yesterday, so I’m taking it easy again! Just a reminder that taking care of yourself includes rest! It’s during the resting from exercise that those torn muscle fibers repair themselves and get stronger; resting allows our bodies to recover so we can safely push ourselves during the next workout. And resting gives us a mental break as well. So what’s on your calendar today?
And how are you fueling your bodies today? I’m thinking pancakes for dinner. I’ve had my eye on this sweet potato pancake recipe, so I think I’ll give it a go.
