Daily Check-in: Thursday, September 3rd

Hey there and happy Friday Eve to ya! This week seems to be moving along, so let's keep things going with the daily staples of the workouts and foods you are doing and eating.

I'll start with none of that and go right to the picture. This is your average ordinary lawn weed; A Nutsedge. It's not really a grass, but hangs out with grass, growing taller and faster with shiny leaves and getting these spiky looking ball things that are actually soft to the touch. They are a lovely reminder or a small suggestion to get some mowing done...or I could lay in the grass/weeds and turn our Nutsedge friend into an art project. Mowing can wait. I think the nutsedge agrees with me on this.

So, what is the workout or rest that is going on? It's a recovery day for me, and given it's during the week, I have some time to give it a go! And that will be the extent of any working out I do. So whatever workout you are up to, from recovery to sweat city, give it all you got; all being wherever you are at for the day. It's okay if you are struggling. Often that's the point. So go easy on yourself; you are here and trying. And most importantly, enjoy!

But let's face it; the true enjoying part really comes to the food, yeah? How will you be fueling your body today? It's usually leftovers paired with a veggie at this point in the week for me, so it totally fits for being quick! Leftovers doesn't really have a taste or specifics, but it's usally pretty good in a very broad sense.

Okay, now Thursday usually calls for announcing and finding out who will be our next ghost (guest host) for the weekend! ..Rememeber; anyone is welcome to host. All you have to do is want to do it! So with that said, who wants to play host? I don't have a specific person in mind as I'm unsure of who has the time or desire right now; so if you want it, speak all the up and I'll throw you the keys. C'mon and take this check-in for a spin!

Alright; gotta get on outta here, but not before good vibes and happy thoughts are packed in your metaphorical lunch box. I'd expand on this, but now I'm just hung up on the idea of lunch.
