13lbs down, 14lbs to go!! And this minimally sucked so far...
Hi- I am new to this community but have been using FB videos for at-home workouts for a while now.
I am quite amazing at starting diets and fitness routines and failing out after 1-2 weeks. But this year I've broken the cycle!
As much as I'd like to lose weight at the optimal 1-1.5 lbs per week, it's too demanding on my body. I'm on a 1200 kcal daily intake (calculated by my fitbit + I'm plant based btw) and doing 30 minute workout videos -or- 2+ mile walks 3-4x per week. Some weeks 1200 kcal is simply not enough and I need to eat an extra 100-500 kcals for energy and recovery which puts me over for the week but I've made peace with it. This all has helped me not burn out and keep going. So, I'm losing weight at about 2.5 lbs per month haha.

Slow progress is still progress!
