I LOVE this format of alternating lower and upper body movements. I don't know what it is about compound movements from past total body workouts - maybe I'm not strong enough or graceful enough - but I never seem to feel like I am making any progress. This workout, however, was perfect!

I used lighter dumbbells + ankle weights last night as I'm recovering from a lower back injury and didn't want to push it, and I still feel like I got a good sweat going!
