Daily Check-in: Monday, August 3rd

Hello my fab FB Fam! How are you on this fresh start of a new week and new month? Feels weird to type out that we are already in the month of August. Time keeps doing its thing, so we should just keep doing our thing.

Things like always adjusting, living out, and enjoying that healthy lifestyle. So how are you doing that today?

I'm excited to try out the latest FB Plus challenge! Kickboxing! Punching air is exactly what I feel I should be doing in my workout time, and having two weeks worth is just grade A fantastic! ..But what about you? There really is no shortage of variety between all kinds of challenges, programs, or whatever independent video you fancy! ..So I hope you can find something to get a little excited about. Even better to find a workout buddy here to help with motivation! The whole goal is to move; so however you do it is awesome!

And of course we must have food to power us through these workouts, both before and after--during might be a stretch. In anyway, do dish the delish! I think spinach will make an appearance at some point, thus guaranteeing some greenery in my day. Lately summer days are calling for quick and cool, so I might already be turning to sandwiches.

And speaking of summer, which is close enough to talk weather, we had a tropical storm/hurricane skirt the east coast of Florida yesterday, but it wasn't too bad. Some rain bands and mild breezes, but all in all as storms go, pretty low key from my area. I know it can always get worse, so I'll take it.

And whether you are riding out a physical or metaphorical storm, have a look at these unripe saw palmetto fruits. Yes, they are not the cure or complement to the adversities or triumphs your day, but for your fun fact of the day, they turn black when ripe. Though I wouldn't hold your tongue out for any positive taste. Unless you enjoy odd levels of intense rotting cheese and gastric juices.. Hah, believe it or not, I've had trespassers come and take these berries off my property. So, it does have some fans out there.

Okay, really though, I hope you guys have a nice day/start of the week without too much trouble. It's not always possible to go troubleless, but always nice thought. And wishful thinking can never hurt!
