We live a few hours from the Rockies and decided to do a day trip yesterday to get a hike in! It was around 13km with nearly a kilometre of elevation gain and I noticed such a huge improvement in my overall fitness compared to our last hiking trip (last year, and before starting Fitness Blender or any regular workouts). The biggest difference for me was that my knees didn’t hurt on the way down as they always had previously! I took the pressure in my quads, and my core helped so much with balance. It was so wonderful to see that our hard work with FB has paid off! Maybe I will grumble a little less during my next round of jump squats. 😉
