Daily Check-in: Wednesday, July 15th

Good morning from sunny Florida, Blendfriends! What's the report on this halfway day of the week? Things are moving along just fine over here, including time as I'm standing in the middle of July. It's been a hot few days here, so in regards to weather, that universal icebreaker for most conversations, I hope the elements (hot or cold, rainy or windy or whatever) are not too unbearable for you.

So, workouts and food; let's get to it. Day 3 of the beginner challenge for me today and it has options. I will be going with the bodyweight upper body and abs routine. And maybe a little extra core work for an EC. So far this challenge is good for me. I say only three days in.😂 ..But it's going fine. My left knee started feeling tweaky over the weekend so I can use and benefit from the low impact moves right now. But what about you guys? How are your workouts, challenges and programs going? Do you stick with a program or challenge and feel the same all the way through, or does motivation start to dwindle? Or maybe even increase? Can we do anything for two weeks like Daniel says with ten seconds of tough HIIT? Note this is a loose and broad analogy, because 2 weeks of HIIT would not be practical.

Eh, let's just eat. Seriously, this should be my first question as curious minds quickly need a snack view of your food life. GrEATings! ..I think sandwiches are in order. It's hot, so sandwiches and frozen fruit sound cool to me.

Now to complete the check-in, let's wrap it up nicely with a Shortleaf Rosegentian for our #WildflowerWednesday. Other members of this family are usually pink, so this showy white one was a nice find.

I do have something else here to mention before I write a parting paragraph. I have an update for you all regarding Kim and her little Furry Trainer #3. She talked to me on Instagram and said it was okay to let you know what's going on since the visit to the neurospecialist in Detroit. Sadly, it's not looking good. To be the bearer of really bad news and sum it up; it's cancer. And they are now just seeing what options they have available and go from there.. Truly heartbreaking news, and I'm so sorry what she and her furbaby are going through right now. So any hugs or hope for anything positive we can send Kim and her crew's way, I think she will greatly appreciate it.

Alright, thanks again for reading and sharing. I hope you have a pleasant day in store. Remember to be gentle and patient with yourself. Allow some time for you as you are as much a priority as the things you have to get done. Maybe more of a priority as said things can't get done without you, right? Right. Talking to myself here as well.
