Hello all! This week it is my turn to start the thread. I am going to try to get it done before I go to work, and else you have to wait untill my first break or a client not turning up for their appointment ;) Today is my day off though. I am going to go pick oisters and mussels with a friend. We've never done that before.. She asked me to go because you can pick up to 10 kg for your own use. I will not be taking them home with me because I do not like eating them, but I will gladly help her pick them. The weather is quite nice, though a bit windy, so a ponytail it is today :)
I did the first day of Lea's Blue Ribbon Challenge this morning and I am going to feel it tomorrow, I am sure. I really pushed hard with the weight today. Weird thing happened though, just before the burnout, I felt a bit nauseous. So I took a bit of a rest, wnet to the toilet, had an extra sip of water and then finished the workout. I was fine when I finished. Maybe it was from pushing myself, maybe my stomach was a little upset. Don't know. I feel fine now..
So, for todays thought I am going to tell you all something I tell the kids at work frequently. They come to me to learn things, things they can't do YET (yet being the magic word). If they think the exercise is easy, I am doing something wrong because I am not teaching them anything, we are just doing what they already can do. Some kids find this hard, they hate making mistakes. I try to teach them this:
"If you try your best and fail, be proud of yourself. Be proud of your efforts, regardless of the result."
