I can't hold a plank for as long as I was able to. I can't do HIIT + lower body strength (even if it's 10 minutes).
2 weeks ago I had a horrible migraine attack which made working out impossible for the whole week. Besides a lot of stress which this horrendous world situation caused, I suspect a trigger for migraine was also too much working out.
I decided to take a step back and shorten my workouts. And that went along fine until I discovered that I really struggle with lower body strength, which is kind of odd since my legs look strong.
So my question is: would it be okay to do HIIT and then after some time lower body strength? Like HIIT in the morning, strength in the afternoon?
I just feel sluggish and unmotivated. I'd like to get rid of my perfectionism.
Getting discouraged / splitting a workout
I feel as though my fitness level dropped.
