Fit R2 Upper body day 🤩

Not gonna lie I never used to be a fan of upper body routines but recently it’s been one of my faves. Upper body strength is something I need to work on and I’m definitely trying.

The strength video is one of my faves. The descending reps one is my ultimate favourite but this one https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/upper-body-strength-workout-guaranteed-muscle-burnout is definitely next in line. In fact this one was my number one go to upper body workout before the descending reps one was released. When they say guaranteed muscle burnout they mean business. If you’re pushing yourself and have good form no lie your arms will be toast.

The second routine finished me off completely. The side plank rotations were difficult because my arms were shaking like an over cooked noodle. I still have no idea how I managed to hold myself up but some miracle happened. Now I feel like I need to mention the arm circles. How on earth are these things so awful? It’s a small range of motion, it looks like the easiest thing you could do but no! It burns! Doing it with the forward motion for 50 seconds was not fun. Then Kellie said to do the backwards ones 👀 that burned like hell!

I loved and hated every second of both of these. In all honesty I love it more now it’s over.

Sending tons of motivation to anyone else working out today. Especially if you’re doing this routine 😬. As for me I’m letting my arms retire for the day. I feel like I need to go and be typically British and have a cup of tea.
