So lately, I've been slowly getting more into weight training and the idea of building muscle. I've done some internet searching here and there and a lot of websites say that you actually need to eat in an calorie surplus to build muscle. Tho, just having lost some weight, I don't think I would feel comfortable going in a surplus! I stopped tracking also, and don't really want to go back to it (now just eating intuitively but guessing still in a slight deficit). Do any of you guys have experience with this? Can you really only build muscle when in a surplus?
Building muscle
Hi guys!
Thanks in advance :)
