I have been thinking about what to eat after a long workout and if carbs are needed?
I've recently been having a low-food-map diet due to doctor's suggestions after digestive problems (meaning no carbs, dairy etc).
A bit of background - I'm in my senior year and I generally train/play/run 6-7 times per week (track, volleyball, cheer + rowing). After a long workout (60-90min) while in quarrantine, should I not train this much as I cannot refuel properly? Is it still ok to do these workouts? or should I do more stretching, low impact exercises. Due to living in la going back to the doctors would be a bit of a hassle so any imput or suggestions would be really helpful and greatly appreciated!
