FB Flex Troubles?

Hello Fitness Blenders!

I had a question about something and I wanted to be sure if this is something smart to do or if I should just stick to what I've always been doing. I purchased FB Flex a few weeks ago and I was going to pair with FB Booty since everyone loves the idea and the results that come with it. Or even just do my owm kinds of lower body exercises every other day. But as most of you know my joints have been acting up and I can't do too many lower body stretches let alone exercises and I certainly can't add any weight to them. I can only really use weight for my upper body but not as heavy as I would usually do because the weight would be too much for my knees ankles (which means doing upper body workout seated is my best option). My question is should I do FB Flex (after I finish FB Reach and the May FB Plus Challenge) and just do my bodyweight/pilates lower body exercises every other day OR do I not do the program and just stick to doing bodyweight or extremely light weight upper body workouts along with my bodyweight lower body exercises? I really feel like adding weight to my upper body and not my lower body would cause an imbalance in my body since not the whole thing will be getting weight added to the different workouts. Honestly, I could be wrong and overreacting but I want to be sure if this is an issue or not. Hopefully this makes sense.
