Hi everyone! How are you doing? Did you have a good weekend? Give me your thoughts and happenings on this Monday. From workouts to food and a Monday picture filled with a few wild blueberry blossoms. There are a few wild types of blueberries that show up around the scrubs and pinelands of Florida, but this one here is a dwarf blueberry. They only get about 18 to 24 inches high, and their fruit is redder than a traditional blueberry. When ripe you can eat them raw or make pies and jams. I love them as a trailside nibble, so if the birds will share, I'll be snacking on a few.
But what are you snacking on today? How is #eatrealfood going for you? I've been lacking in the fresh veggies department, as I've reduced my grocery trips greatly, but I'm lucky to have frozen veggies on hand and have been relying on them. I also really want to start a vegetable garden again. I usually have something growing on, but the garden area needs a little work to get it ready again. I love outdoors, gardening can be great exercise and very much needed dirt therapy as Kelli mentioned in her post yesterday; https://www.fitnessblender.com/community/discussion/18746/dirt-therapy
^So yeah, reading that reminds me how much I love fresh home grown veggies and that I need to work and get going on that garden! Just talking about it makes me excited. Ah, I got a little off track; do tell what food is swallowing into your life today.
And what workouts are we getting around to? Or rest? I'm going to start the April challenge from FB Plus today! I'm really looking forward to having two weeks planned out for me so I'll just show up and press play! Hint: Today's workout is a recent lower body with active and static intervals that burns so good! Haha, can't wait! But what is that sweat that you just can't wait for today?
Okay, another new week locked and loaded and ready to go. I hope we are all in for a good week and try to not let all the little problems get under our skin. It can all add up. So also keep in mind what you did accomplish, no matter how small, because that adds up too. :)
