Hello! Today was day 1 of the reach program for me! Which was the fitness test which I didnt do... but I did day 2 of the 3 day flexibilty challenge instead. I always look forward to pilates because it's a unexpected challenge.
I would also like to throw this out there.... I'm doing reach because I cannot find motivation to do anything harder right now. All this stress and fee found anxiety over Covid-19 is causing my Sjogrens to flare up. So I bought the reach program to keep myself in the habit of working out (in the past I would have just quit working out during a flare up).
I am weak in my core and pilates movements are pretty hard for me... I'm okay with strength training, but man, these tiny repetitive movements kill my legs! I'm excited to use this time to work on strengthening these areas so I'll be able to make significant gains when I'm ready to get back to my normal workouts.
I'm also plan on throwing in a cardio or strength video here and there if I feel like it and want to get back to 3 mile walks several times a week when the weather breaks.
I might not be on the message boards as much as usual, but I am working out and haven't left! I love this community! Just need a little break as I keep comparing myself to others 🤷♀️
