Daily Check-in: Monday, April 13th #StayConnected Challenge WEEK 2, DAY ONE!

Hello there, Beautiful Blendfriends! ..Yes, you are beautiful and your energy in turn makes this community beautiful. And that's a fact to open up your Monday with. Also opening and to complement the beauty is this Prickly Pear Cactus bloom. They usually bloom in late May to June, so the weather is playing a few tricks and these flowers are all kinds of confused. But they are here now, so let's enjoy them!

And things that were enjoyed (hopefully) was your Easter weekend, if you celebrate.. And there were Alexi's check-ins. She simply did a wonderful job ghosting and keeping everything running smoothly. Nice job on that 1000 calorie workout too, Alexi!

And at the very mention of the word "workout" can fill us with excitement...or maybe a little dread. 'Cause some days we are lead bricks, so rest where appropriate. But those who want to get that sweat on, what's the plan? ..For some of us, we are on week two of the #StayConnected Community challenge. We are halfway done, guys! But to anyone just tuning in, you could start today and join us this week if you are looking for something similar to the Strong program ..Last week the we had descending extra credits to go with the main workouts, but this week the ECs will be ascending, so every day they will be longer. Note the extra credit is not required. Its just a little something extra to pair with the main workout. So, as always, do what you see fit and have fun! I'm being so predictable lately, going right from workouts to food talk, but let's go ahead and dive right into to all the nutrish & delish dishes happening today! I have some sweet potatoes and plenty of beans, so I kinda want to make something along the lines of a black bean/sweet potato burrito. That sounds pretty good, but what are you all creating and eating? Tell us!

Okay, the dawn of a new week is here. No doubt filled with new and reoccurring challenges to face and overcome; But also some NSVs and mini milestones along the way. But let's put a magnifying glass to our Monday, and work through it to the best to our ability. Because that's all we can really do. Try and keep on trying. And it's okay if you don't accomplish much today. Just do what you can. Always forward, forward always. Can't go wrong with that direction. :)
