Daily Check-in: Wednesday, April 8th. #StayConnected Challenge DAY THREE!

Hello and happiest of Wednesdays to you, FB Fam. I hope everything is going well for you. ..And while I don't have lemons on pears for you on this half way day, I do have a different kind of butterfly on a different kind of flower for you. More specifically a Pearl Crescent on a kind of Southern Fleabane. In case you're wondering, FT Cu has added butterfly chasing to his resume. He wasn't around during this particular photo shoot; hence everyone is whole. Don't worry about the butterflies though; they always manage to get away.

So nature thingys aside, how goes the day? How are things regarding everyday life and the workouts and food we fit in between everything? Because life revolves around working out and food, right? Right. I thought so.

And if you are part of the group that's doing the #StayConnected challenge, how's the upper body? That might be more of a rhetorical question as that day 2 routine all but guaranteed some major T-Rex arms. I expected nothing less from a Kim created routine for the upper body. But now with sore lowers and uppers, plus today being Wednesday, you know what that means; drum roll for core day! Let's look at what we have going on for day three:

About 30 minutes of core work, warm up and cool down included: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/30-minute-core-strength-fitness-blender-advanced-core-workout

10 minutes of extra credit core work in the form of standing abs: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/standing-abs-workout-standing-abs-exercises-to-tone-abs-obliques-and-lower-back

.. So I guess we are going to find out if we can get our abs talking to us today! And as always, if today's lineup doesn't speak to you, trade it out for something that works. Sweat is sweat, wherever and however you do it. With that said, if you are not doing this challenge, tell us what you are up to! And good luck today earning your stay connected and workout completes!

(And to see the full line up and get more details on what #StayConnected is all about, check this post: https://www.fitnessblender.com/community/discussion/18306/official-stayconnected-community-challenge-schedule)

And you know what's next. As predictable as the sun rising, there will always be food conversations in these check-ins. I feel I've been sorta copying and pasting my dinners these past few days. Not much creativity, but still eating well. I'd tell you the plan for tonight, but I just don't think that far ahead at the moment. Ground beef is in the fridge. Assorted frozen veggies are in the freezer, so I'll be juggling something along those lines. Hah, it's much more fun reading about what everyone else is eating, so I'll be doing just that😂

Okay, got to go ahead and get on out of here. I hope you all are staying safe, doing the important SD6 (social distancing minimum 6ft) thing, and focusing on any positives while still being prepared. Unfortunately this virus is affecting so many so fast that it's hard to fathom the impact. No doubt it's a scary time, but it's good to keep reminding ourselves that we will get through this, especially by helping others. And sometimes that's ad simple as staying home. We are being socially distant, not emotionally distant.

So please, take care of yourselves and try and have a good day!
