I am starving!!!

I have been on a 1200 to 1500 calorie eating plan for about 6 months. No particular diet plan, just staying in my calorie range. Of course this was hard in the beginning, but I got used to it and it has just been a lifestyle change without a lot of thought or pain behind it. I have lost right around 30 pounds. However, for the past week, I have been so hungry!!! I want all the sweets, breads, and greasy fast foods! I try to eat low calorie, high protein meals and snacks and eat a lot of vegetables. My problem is, even though I am choosing the healthy snacks, the calories are still adding up. Plus, I have hit a plateau in my weightloss. Going below 1200 calories isn't healthy and is not feasible considering I'm am hungry, verging on hangry, all the time right now. I am 48 and am having symptoms of perimenopause. I am self diagnosing that as part of the problem but don't know how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
