🌹SIF🌸 Accountability Group: Week 1, Saturday March 7
Good afternoon, SIF Group!
I am writing this Saturday post on the floor of my bedroom, feeling relaxed and refreshed from today’s stretching routine. I just finished Week 1 of FB Fit Round 2, and I am feeling sore everywhere 😆 The first week of this 8-week program doesn’t start off easy, and I might have almost given up on days when I just “wasn’t feeling it.” But guess what? I made it through every video this week – and I’m so proud of myself!
As far as my nutrition goes, I still indulged in some evening sweets. But I will say that I made a few swaps to satiate these cravings. Instead of a bowl of ice cream or cookies, I decided to eat some granola and yogurt. This simple swap still allowed me to have a little sweet when I wanted it yet acted like a steppingstone to my goal (eliminating as much added sugar as possible). I told myself to not feel guilty for this, but instead, do better this coming week.
Now, I want to hear from you!
Discussion:
What did you find the most challenging in your fitness/nutrition journey this week? Did you guys look back on your goals? (If not, here’s your reminder to do that today!)
In addition, and for some fun, I would love to hear where everyone in the group is from (if you feel comfortable with sharing). I get excited about the thought of people from all different areas of the country/world supporting each other in health and fitness. Even though the internet isn’t a novel idea anymore, it still blows my mind that we can all connect so easily!
