G'day to all, and happy leap day! I accidentally typed happy new year, so ya'll can tell my head is just in the clouds today! But it is pretty close to the beginning of the year, so let's all leap into the rest of the year challenging ourselves constantly while sharing and receiving love, which is a challenge in and of itself!
I was hoping to have an awesome picture of a frog....but alas I don't have one. Instead I will share a beautiful creature from Costa Rica. The oropendula, which is literally Spanish for "Gold pendulum." I was in Spanish class when we kept hearing a strange bird call, and it was this pretty guy who apparently gets his name for its tail wag to attract the ladies 😎
I, on the other hand, wagged my tail a lot in dance class today, though I am still amazed at how people can move their hips so smoothly! It wasn't a demanding workout cardio-wise but coordination wise...oh yeah!
What is on your calendar today, blenders? Anyone else leaping into a workout? Or are we leaping into a nice long bath or onto the couch? Hey, judgment free zone!!! 😅
I have just finished kneading my brioche dough that I'll bake tomorrow morning. For dinner, my dad will play around in the kitchen: we have this fun joke where he'll make some weird new chicken recipe and we'll give it a rather dumb name like "Chicken a la Wednesday." Today he'll create a "Chicken a la Leap Year" meaning he can only make it on leap years....so hopefully it won't be too good or else I'll have to wait another four years! 😨
I'm curious as to what is on your plates! As FB posted today, nutrition is so important, so make sure to eat well but to enjoy yourselves.
On that note, it's time to go on over to my school work! Have an awesome last day of the month 😁😁👌👌
