My son wanted to go see a 180° film today (turtly odyssey), so we did. The film ended early and the weather was pretty nice, so we went for a walk through the park. We went to Madurodam, which is a themepark with famous Dutch buildings in small size. We had a bit of rain, but it was mostly sunny. We walked about 6k in total today.
In the picture: miniature Maeslantkering, a structure that is nearby my home. It closes when there is a storm and when the waterlevel rises too much. It protects us from flooding. They finished building it in 1997. Tje first time it closed was in 2007. Closing it, also means cutting of the waterway to the harbours.
Another lovely day outside
