Yoga on rest days?

I’m in the middle of FB Blend, and yesterday was my rest day. I like having Sundays as rest days.

I’ve been wanting to get into yoga, and a local yoga studio has a session in Sundays, so I decided it would be okay to do yoga on a rest day. Well, this morning I woke up feeling a little sore. Oops! I’m okay now that I’ve been up a few hours, but I wasn’t expecting sore muscles from yoga. This wasn’t a high speed routine, nor hot yoga. It was a lot of cobra, holding the body fairly low, and variations of downward dog, and of laying on the back with your leg crossed over the body.

Now I’m wondering if I should skip today’s workout, which is a total body workout.

Does anyone else do yoga on their test days, or is it too much?
