Recovery Day /Week 3 complete/ A blissful time with cats

Today I completed week 3 of FB Blend with a recovery stretching routine. I really pushed myself yesterday. This whole week, in fact. I usually work out on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, but this week, I tried working out a few hours after I'd eaten. I think that helped me have energy to be able to push myself further. I also read somewhere in the community chat that if you're not sore the next day at all, you're not lifting enough. I realized I hadn't been really feeling sore at all after my upper body workouts lately, so I decided to lift heavier yesterday... which to my surprise, I could do. I guess I'd been building up strength without even knowing it. And today, I feel a bit sore ;)

The day has been very relaxing so far. I tried giving myself a hair trim.. which was a bad idea with short hair since a little goes a long way, haha. And then I took a nap with my cats, which was extra nice since the apartment was cold, and they are warm.

One of my favorite bonding times with the cats is taking naps with both of them. There's something just so peaceful and comforting, and it's a very precious time for me.
