Hi Blenders! It's your friendly Ghost for the weekend! Hope you are all off to a wonderful, relaxing few days off. For those of you working non-traditional hours, best of luck getting those to-do lists checked off!

If you are like me and dreaming of the beach, you may want to mentally transport yourself to beautiful Point Reyes National Seashore in California! I was up there a few months ago and loved hearing the crash of the waves. If you live in the desert like me, I'm sure you understand what it's like to not have a beach nearby! Point Reyes has an interesting history, too, first settled by the Miwok tribe and later the landing place for Sir Francis Drake while circumnavigating the world! How cool is that? While the beaches are gorgeous, there are also numerous cows in the area -- Happy California Cows!!! Moooo.

All right, Blenders, let's get right to it. What are you up to this weekend? Doing anything exciting? Movies, shows, concerts, hikes? Are you resting up and getting your zzz's, or are you gonna tackle a beast of a workout with Kelli and Daniel?

Anyone heading out to some fancy pants restaurants, or are you staying in and making some delicious grub? Today, we are making chicken pot pie here, complete with leftover all butter puff pastry crust! Hoping to make something Mediterranean-inspired as I've been craving those flavors.
