Daily Check-in: Fitness Friday, January 10th

Ahoy there! How is Friday looking from where you guys are at? I hope it's smooth sailing wherever you are or up to. And to blue sky and pine up your Friday, I have this picture for you! And while I'd love to sit here and tell you all what kind of young fine pine we have on deck, I don't know. But I will expand on that; I've narrowed it down to the common ones in my area, so it's either a Slash, Loblolly, Longleaf, or Sand Pine. But being these species are so closely related, I have more learning to do before I can tell them apart. Needles to say, we don't need to know the specifics to enjoy what nature has to offer!

Or maybe you'd rather be pining for the weekend? If that's the case, let me inform you that our Las Vegas living Blender, Koppakabana, will be our next wonderful ghost (our little coined term for "guest host") this weekend! She will be running on pacific time, so the check-in will show up a little later than normal, but do not worry, there will be one, and no doubt worth the wait! Have all the fun with it, Koppakabana!

Speaking about making it work for you, that connects us right to the Fitness Friday question. Heather brought up a great point in her check-in post yesterday that got me thinking: I know FB has many great videos, but some we like more than others. So I'm wondering, what are your least favorite workouts from FB, and how do you modify them to make it work for you? ..It's kinda hard to find a least favorite, but one did come to mind for me: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/fit-is-better-than-skinny-upper-body-strength-and-cardio-training-workout

Thinking about it, I'm not really sure why I had a problem with this workout. Maybe it was just the day, or it was the rounds structure or that it goes by really quickly.. so in addition to giving this workout another shot, I think I will lift lighter and have that pause button ready. ..There are many ways to modify, from keeping it low impact, speeding or slowing it down, to changing up the structure, so let's here what you do to get through a not so ideal workout. Anyway, interesting to read your answers; you lot are pretty creative.

Okay, well, I've talked about workouts long enough to qualify for two breakfasts, so let's get to the good stuff and all that we will be biting in to. Being Friday, pizza is on my mind and will turn into a reality come dinner time. But that's just me; do give us all the nutritious and delicious foods orbiting your world.
