I'm down with stress fractures in both shins (I'm a dancer and tried to ignore the pain for too long). To heal, I can't put any weight on my shins- no standing/walking/etc.
I'm supposed to go skiing in a month. It's the highlight of my year and I REFUSE to miss it.
Everyone's saying that I'm young, my bones will heal fast, and while that may be true, my legs are going to be so out of shape! I've been doing seated workouts, floor barre and pilates, and swimming, but I haven't yet found anything to work my quads without standing. Any tips for building strong quads without standing/impact?
