Kind of ate everything in sight for the past month of December since there were so many holiday parties. And since I've been restrictively eating for so long (the past two years) to lose 40lbs, I ended up eating desserts like crazy since I haven't had it in so long. I missed my moms home cooked desserts. So naturally I gained 8lbs this December, probably not all of it fat, but definitely don't feel comfortable in my jeans or even stretchy pants anymore. It's a silly thing to be upset about, but for some reason I feel like I failed myself because I only enjoyed the food momentarily and now I'm miserable all day thinking of the fact that I have to lose the fat again. I just want to get to a place of balance. Does anyone have any tips for that? Or I don't even know if this post makes sense.
How can I become ok with holiday weight gain :(
