Send your possitive energies or prayers or anything you believe in, please!
Hi, FB family!
Hope everyone is ok and well. And, hope everyone's November started with the right foot!
On the HKS Accountability group, we are trying to say thanks for something each day or November. And, at the beginning of the weekend (here it was a long weekend), I said that I was thankfull because I was going to a trip with my couple's family to nearby towns.
Today, I am happy because I did spent time with family, but also because I am alive, safe and well.
From Friday to Sunday, we stayed at Jardín, Antioquia, and it was great! And, from Sunday to Monday (today), we stayed at Jericó, Antioquia and it was great also on Sunday. But, due to a heavy and long rain, on Monday 1am this morning we had to evacuate the house where we were staying because of landslides. Almost all the town went to the seminar, even the sick from the hospital had to be moved there, on the opposite site of the landslides, where they provided shelter. We were able to come back home in the afternoon, thankfully, where we arrived at 5pm. There were a couple of landslides on the road but we could pass them and we arrived safely.
So, I am very thankfull for that. Still, I hope you (all blenders) can take a minute to send your possitive energies or prayers or anything you believe in to Jericó. Most of the tourists evacuated the town and left to other cities, but there are still lots of people there, people that live there, and, even if the risk isn't high anymore, there is still risk of the whole mountain collapsing if it rains again or something.
