Having taken some time off from exercise the last (um, er, feeling sheepish) 2 or 3 weeks, due to schedule challenges, and a cold, I started the Abs 2 program today, and just completed the main workout and the extra credit.
I posted a few days ago about how just sitting around and sleeping due to being sick actually made me sore. Well, all day today I've been looking forward to having a good excuse for being sore. And it really feels good to back at it!
Oh, and I decided on an abs program because I want to strengthen my core, and work on improving my balance. Yes, I have a bit of a pooch, but that's not my main issue. I have osteopenia and borderline osteoporosis. I don't want to take the meds that build the bones, because of too many side effects. I also don't want to fall and break something. I'm treating it with exercise and diet. But of course, that's the best treatment for most of what ails us, isn't it?
Abs 2, day 1 complete!
