hi everyone! i grew up drinking haldi doodh - or what people in the west are now calling "golden milk" - and recently experimented with making a powdered mix so i can enjoy at work or while camping, etc. it's pretty yummy and a refreshing change from the normal ole caffeinated coffee 'n tea products.
hope this helps anyone who is looking to change things up a bit:
4 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ground ginger
2 tsp chai masala (you could use pumpkin pie spice in a pinch)
black pepper (I like a lot of this but you do you!)
8-12 tbsp powdered coconut milk (I am sure that dried milk powder will also work. add more if you want it more milky)
that's it! throw it into a jar, give it a good shake, and when you are ready to drink, put 1 tsp into a mug and add hot water and sugar/sweetener to taste.
