Feelin good? Happy that it's once again almost the weekend?
I certainly am! This week's been busy, and we still got two days left to get through! That's ok, we can do it though!
Bright side: my new dryer is up and running! Yay! We'll have de-furred laundry from here on out! haha
Oh, and today's random pic! I was actually attempting to get a picture of this pretty maple leaf, when instead, there's this incredibly fuzzy, bright-white caterpillar hangin out there! I have absolutely no idea what kind of caterpillar this is, but it's pretty cool looking. I've never seen a white one before, so that's interesting. Just make sure to leave 'em alone, in case they're toxic! haha
Ok, now how about some workouts goin on for today, Blenders? Is it a workout day, or rest day for you?
I'm not sure if I'll do a recovery-style workout or take the day off today. A bunch of us are planning a mini-1000 Calorie Workout Party for tomorrow! (Thanks to Lisa and Kristina for the idea!) We're gonna conquer the beast of beasts and do this one: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/1000-calorie-workout-video-94-minute-insane-bodyweight-workout-challenge-attempt-at-your-own-risk It's been often spoken of as being the hardest of the 1K workouts, but it'll be alright, because we'll be conquering this together! Gotta love a spontaneous 1000 Calorie Workout Party! I'm looking forward to it!
And now onto the food portion of this check-in! How about it guys? What's on the menu for today?
I'm experimenting with a risotto in the slow cooker. I've never made it this way before, and I'm curious if it'll work! I'm gonna make it with beet greens, and serve roasted beets on the side. I sure hope it turns out ok!
