My arm has been in pain for a couple weeks. I rested it last weekend (I posted about using tiger balm and icy hot!), and it felt much better by Monday. Throughout the course of this week, my arm became more sore. This morning I was SO excited to workout, but I realized that doing the schedule total body routine would be unhealthy for my arm. I chose to do some really awesome butt-kicking routines for this morning, making sure to be careful with my range of motion, and even choosing something other than burpees when the routine called for them.
This is a HUGE victory for me. I didn't push it even though I was disappointed to miss the routine that was scheduled for today. I also chose to do something else healthy for me, so I mindfully decided on what to do with my body.
