Ok, family. I now do all kinds of βsickβ things I haven't in a long time. Good for me, right? But, I am officially boycotting!!!
I have three levels on which I boycott workouts (I'll name just a few examples):
1. Modifying: I don't like Jacks of any sort, I'm no fan of Burpees either, so I sometimes do easier/low-impact version instead.
2. Replacing: When I have something like Russian Twist, Triceps Dips or Lizard Hops, I will substitute them, also sometimes, with something that targets the same muscle group or is the same in intensity.
3. Just standing there, not doing anything at all! -Turkish Get Ups (nobody likes you) and Pilates Hundreds and Downward Dog can go directly to damnation. Never ever doing them. I can't even watch the screen when they are on (Ok, that's overkill). π And it's not that I can't do them, I can. I just despise them...
If the difference is between enjoying and not enjoying a workout, the boycott is not a question β it is an answer. At least for me it is...
Boycott!

Am I alone in this?
